He also warned them that Imperials were sending their best show troops to the crash site, so operatives should expect heavy resistance.The operatives got to the coordinates and found that the salvage team of Imperial snow troopers had already arrived there - there was no chance to search for the datapad unnoticed. The operatives attacked the snow troopers. Surprise on their side, operatives shot down several Imperials even before the snow troopers started returning fire. Now fully on alert, more snow troopers have joined the fight. Both sides fought bravely, knowing full well that only one group would win. Although the snowtroopers were specially trained to fight in such conditions, the operatives were much more skilled and experienced. One by one, all the Imperials were killed, and the operatives began to search the area. After a few minutes, they finally found the datapad in the snow next to the escape pod. Having got what they came for, the operatives retreated back to the outpost. They passed the datapad to Captain Elson, who immediately contacted Captain Arden. Arden revealed that the datapad contained Empire's bombing trajectories and that information would save many lives. Elson thanked the operatives and then began issuing orders for his troops to leave the bombardment area as soon as possible. The operatives told Elson to call for help if needed, and then went on with their business. |
